Happy New Year! Thanks for the heads up on the sale at RED GERANIUM! I have never been before and will have to check it out. I just purchsed some shiny brite ornaments from goodwill and am looking for more vintage stuff for next year!
I LOVE your stockings!! A lot of work that went into those, and the result is so beautiful! :) Thanks so much for visiting my blog and for taking the time to leave a comment. Yours was one of the best comments I have ever received! You really made my day! Hope you have a wonderful weekend! Beth.
Our tree filled with handmade glass ornaments from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic. Filled in with vintage shiny brites....oh how I love the sparkle!

I dragged this simple pine chest home from a tree lawn. I thought it could become something wonderful! I sanded it, primed it, then lettered it using an image I snagged from eBay.
I blew the letters up on my copier to 400%, then once again.
I laid them out and traced around them with a pencil. Using paint I already had, I hand painted them. After it was dry, I distressed using sandpaper. I think it turned out great!
Happy Holidays! The stockings are amazing- what detail those take to make. I love the fireplace too.
ReplyDeleteThank you Melanie and Happy Holiday's to you as well. Yes, those stockings were a labor of love, but worth it!
ReplyDeleteI plan to really keep up with this blog, I've got loads of ideas to get posted!
Happy New Year!
